The sun hadn't even come up yet but that was OK -- nobody was in the water yet. And who would be the first to brave the rocks at low tide? It's not a fun walk!
If this works, the picture box below (hosted on YouTube) should actually be a video of a few of the Huntington Masters Swimmers leaving the water. To activate, just "click" the start arrow in the middle of the screen. Neat -- if it works!
Monday, August 27, 2007 around 7:15am: The water in Cold Spring Harbor was flat. The tide was dead low and there were patches of seaweed and jellyfish (harmless kind). All in all, a great way to start the work week EXCEPT for the walk up the "beach" -- to many rocks at low tide!
Even Armand showed up -- we just forgot to tell him we were swimming NOT biking!
Armand... bring your wetsuit and goggles on Wednesday. See you then.
