Thanks to Bob and Pat Miller for these pictures and report on yesterday's "Saturday Morning Swim at RM5". Everybody met up at the East End of Robert Moses, Field #5, (the area closest to the lighthouse), and as you can see, it was a picture-perfect Saturday in August for an Open Water Swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
Here is Bob's "On-The-Scene" Report:
Verrry cool water...but so clean...nice swim to the lighthouse and back...9 intrepid swimmers! Nice morning... by 11 the lot was full...pays to show up early...no jellies...surf was about 2 to 3 foot & got really better later on...should be a lot bigger this week with Tropical Storm Colin passing by...going surfing on Tuesday...wanna' go? Call in sick... See you Monday a.m.in the Y pool! - Bob
Going Surfing? Or just want to check on current surf conditions then head on over to the Bunger Surf Camera and "know before you go!"
Reminder, "Clicking" on a picture will usually bring it up in a larger size.
